Join the Peatland Justice campaign team and make a tangible impact on climate justice by working at the intersection of community organizing, climate action, and corporate accountability. Act as the primary point of contact for communication with retailers and other corporate stakeholders;
Research and synthesize the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) plans of retailers;
Work closely with other task groups within Peatland Justice by sharing updates, co-creating communication materials, and participating in strategic planning.
You will play a key role in advancing the Peatland Justice Campaign by building relationships with retailers, advocating for stocking peat-free plants and potting soils, and planning next steps for cases of non-cooperation. You’ll work closely with a dynamic team of peatland enthusiasts to shape the campaign’s direction.
